I just released an album on iTunes under the Amy Radio name featuring 10 songs. The songs range from the heartfelt "Permanent Kisses" and "Outfaded and Dated" to irreverent love songs such as "She Farts Shasta Daisies" and "Neuter My Heart" to an under-known George Jones song, "The King is Gone (and so are you)" about a guy talking about women while getting drunk with a Jim Beam bottle of Elvis and a Fred Flintstone jam jar.

This was recorded in an empty warehouse in El Segundo, California and is straight-up and Lo-Fi, just me and a guitar and a big empty room. On some of the tracks you can hear the fuzz of rain in the background.

I heard the phrase "Amy Radio" from a guy I knew in northern Vermont and he used it as slang for A.M. radio and it stuck with me to describe that feel and sound and wonderment when driving late at night and coming across obscure songs and sounds on the radio. In 2006-2008, I wrote, produced, and recorded a series of radio shows for a radio station in Vienna, Austria under the title "The Amy Radio Show" which dealt with such American themes as the Highway, the Wild West, Space Travel, and Trains. These Amy Radio recordings are an extension of that. Enjoy and stay tuned!!
