Early Baltimore Peckertrack Cards

The Baltimore Peckertracks were a AAAA ball club in the teens and twenties, but crashed with the stock market crash of 1929. Notable players included Thaddeus Clubberfoot, Dick Skidmark, Curly Dacus, Hoke Tithonker, and Salty Shambles. One of their finest pitchers, albeit it short lived, was none other that Bo Peepers, who lost his eye in either a brothel accident or on the farm, depending on whose story you believe. He and the team's catcher, Sparky Pooternips, both played in the Great Game of 1927.

This is perhaps the earliest known card of Bo Peepers, commonly referred to as the Orange Card. It is ultra rare as Peeper's eye patch is on the wrong eye, as he was 'right-eyed'.

Although the condition is fair to poor for this card, it is an early printers proof of this Peeper's action card.
